Before You Order

Standard industry practice recommends ordering 4% to 10% more concrete than your calculated estimate. This additional volume accounts for common job site factors including waste, spillage, over-excavation, form spreading, loss of entrained air during placement, settlement, and the natural volume reduction that occurs as concrete hardens (typically 1% to 2%).

 

This calculator provides a volumetric estimate only. Actual concrete needs may vary based on site conditions, subgrade preparation, and placement methods. Bailey Ready Mix maintains certified scales and performs regular yield testing to verify mix design accuracy.
